Cabot Design's cabin interior monument load cell has successfully been used to record lower attachment interface loads in a large scale galley test. Six lower attachment load cells were used together with Cabot Design's high speed data acquisition unit to capture real time interface loads at all attachments.
Data from the load cells will be used to validate that finite element analysis models are accurately representing the galley behaviour observed during the test.
Cabot Design's six axis load cells have been developed specifically for cabin interior monument and seat tests. The load cells are supplied with adapters to represent different fuselage attachment points.
